Freeze-Thaw Physics
Sap flows when daytime temps rise above 0°C and nights drop below freezing. These cycles create pressure within the sapwood that drives exudation.

Pulling hourly temperature, soil conditions, solar radiation, snow depth, and vapor pressure deficit from Environment Canada forecast models.
